Take me back… our last day in Germany - in addit

Take me back… our last day in Germany - in addition to the bus ride to Frankfurt - had us stopping at a lovely little Bed and Breakfast, in a quaint village of just 100 inhabitants. Surrounded by beautiful, fragrant gardens, we were treated to the most amazing lunch with some truly memorable experiences (balsamic as a palate cleanser). A tour of the B&B before it closed for the season, and a visit to the church across the street, built in the 13th century, gave me such an appreciation for the architecture that we don’t see here in the US.

Day four started with the most amazing breakfast with our sponsor @bauteamofficial, and the surprises didn’t stop. The features of their cabinetry were delightful. We then stopped at @sachsenkuechen.official to learn about their sustainable offerings. Cabinet fronts of linoleum that can be put in your compost! Next, was braving the climb to the top of the tower at Sparrenberg Castle. We then closed the day at dinner with the scarabs.

Day three started with our sponsor, @hettich_official. It was quite an interactive visit with a lot of moving parts. We then made our way to #area30, much like our #kbis with many vendors exhibiting their new and exciting products. After a few more stops, it was off to an amazing dinner with some of the NKBA’s German counterparts at a church turned restaurant.

Day two was our first day of all things kitchen, s

Day two was our first day of all things kitchen, starting with @boracookingsystems and their new flagship store, which had just opened five days prior. After being amazed by the architecture, we were awed by the extraction systems, convection ovens, and other cooking systems. Afterwards, it was on to @nobilianorthamerica’s German showroom to see the flexibility of their full-access cabinetry and how it can be utilized in all rooms of the house. After a tour of the factory, it was off to the Brauhaus. Stay tuned for day three!

The first day of our fabulous #nkbagermanhausfairtour ended with a cultural stop at @burghotel_trendelburg, or Rapunzel’s Tower, where we were treated to a historical (and hysterical) lesson on fairy tales by our very own knight. It was an extraordinary kick-off.
