My affinity for floor plans and space planning began in childhood. Growing up, I could often be found with pencil in hand – using a straight-edged ruler – reworking builders’ floor plans, or drawing out the homes and kitchens of my favorite ’80s sitcoms.

This passion for spaces led to a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design, and a career of over twenty years in residential and commercial interiors. I have worked on projects as diverse as university, biotechnology, retail, and residential spaces throughout the United States, with award-winning architecture and interior design firms in Boston and San Francisco before founding Chanda Seymour Design in 2003.

I believe that successful design is not only beautiful, but functional. I am dedicated to providing innovative solutions that are efficient, and aesthetically pleasing. Each new project is a collaborative journey with the client to provide spaces that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
